"It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable." - Socrates Growing older I realised it's high time to get in great shape so I'll remember what it's like to once have been in peak condition. This time I've given myself a short window of just a few weeks to get results to really kickstart the journey so let's see how it goes! Diet diet diet and workout incoming :)

Urgh looking so rounded around the edges and hardly any definition... Belly fat seems to last to go according to what I've heard so going to need a whole lot of discipline to get any kind of progress leap in the next couple of weeks.

Love food too much to give it all up but one meal a day is now steamed chicken with veggies. This probably helps but fairly unscientific compared to others measuring macros, hoping this casual but generally tried and true method comes through for as well.
73.7 kg / 162.1 lbs
Not really much difference in the first week even though I've shaved down 300g. I guess that's hardly anything but will keep going and perhaps see some change around the 2 - 3kg mark? Have started HIIT every other day along with a slimmed down diet so here's to more progress soon!

Added in some heavy lifts for variation but also because some parts were getting sore and needed some rest. The constant abs hammering has also made me realise how much of the core you engage in the various exercises which for some reason never really stood out to me. Might start a separate journal for chest building but that is a story for another day 😁

Never noticed this exercise station nearby has turned out to be a really handy find! Without a doorframe chin up bar or actual one nearby it's been quite hard to work on leg raises so this definitely made a random run route worthwhile. Would have been better if there were elbow pads but it's a minor gripe against a super grateful thanks to whoever thought to add this here.
